To My Lord, Pope Francis

Oh, what has become of these two decades, in the labyrinths of the Millennium,
of these plural expressions of the Nation-States.

Yet, Monsignor, the Pope, in his indignation,
lived his time knowing that he stood beyond
Confederations, Federations, and Unions.

He knew how to transcribe the Heavenly Word
beyond transcriptions, beyond exo-esotericism,
beyond Gender, through Federations,
Confederations, and Unions.

Plenipotentiary, he knew,
in the thought and in the shadow of his peers and predecessors,
how to comprehend the convictions and the exclusions
of contemporary leaders,

elected by their Nations and/or serving as Heads of State,
separating the magisterial power of the Vatican
from the power of arbitration,
within every Catholic faith and confession,
in defense of CITIZENS’ interests.
